Harvested about a month later than usual due to a cool summer and warm harvest. This wine was aged for 14 months in 10% American and 90% French oak, using 33% new and 67% seasoned barrels. Ripe cherry, dark chocolate, and tobacco leaf aroma followed by a long finish, surrounded with dark fruit and elegant tannins. Pair with stuffed peppers, blue cheese burgers, or steak.
